Exclamation Ruger Old Army - nipple wrench wanted!!

    Hi all,

I bought a ROA [.45] BP revolver via this forum,,,but sadly my kit is missing a nipple wrench

As the old hands will appreciate, this is a pretty vital piece of kit. So, looking for a spare.

Written to Ruger Ltd as well - they have none in stock, their stockists have none in stock.

    Any used/alternates?

PS - while cleaning after a FFFg pyrodex shoot, would you strip away the grips, etc as well, to clean?

    THANKS!!

I assume by stockist that you mean the UK Importers, Viking Arms?

There is a dealer in France that sells nipple keys for Rugers. I think they are specially made for him. He charges 9 euro + 2 euro international shipping. I'm registered on the French auction site so could ask if he takes Paypal and buy one for you if you want.

    Krank

Henry Krank does a 4 way one that fits. I use it on mine.

    Viking Arms - plaudit

I got called up by Viking Arms yesterday morning about four grip frame screws that I had ordered from Sturm,Ruger in the USA last year. The lovely lady over there told me that she ship them over with the next bunch of Ruger spares to be sent.

I got them this morning by special delivery mail.

Viking Arms know what customer service is all about, for sure.

    Thanks, VA!
