I had a few ' lengthy ' chats with Bill over the years , another person that did a lot of work behind the scenes .

My best wishes to his family

I have just heard this sad news on another forum, Pontefract air rifle club, who have had a long relationship with Bill and Air arms as they supplied all our "Club guns" and pellets too i believe, just one of the many things behind the scenes that they did for our sport, a great loss. I met Bill a few times while at the gamefairs and while i don't know all the details i do know he wasn't always in the best of health and when i met him at the last one he probably should have been at home instead, but he didn't let that stop him.
    Rest in peace Bill.

    Bill

Bill was a true friend and always thought of others before himself. DTSGB cannot thank him enough for all his help. Why do the good ones have to leave before their time?

I heard this terrible news this afternoon and I was really shocked, I knew Bill was in hospital, but never expected this.

I was going to pop into St. Thomas' Hospital tomorrow, as I'm going to be in the area and I wanted to see how he was.

    Rest In Peace Bill.
Not camp, Gary just wishes I were!
