    Brocock Atomic v Falcon FN6

I'm looking for pros and cons, for and against comments on these two pistols.

I'll selling my Ultra so I will soon have the funds to buy a second hand pistol.

The Atomic can be purchased significantly cheaper than the Falcon.

I'd be probably be buying the older falcon with separate cocking and loading bolts. So the Atomic wins here ?

The Falcon grips look meatier than the skinnier Atomic woodwork.... one for the FN6?

    Thanks
    Ian

I thought you had already owned both of these with your extensive airgun collecting Ian?

I've owned both and I'd say there's not much in it.....Pricewise used aren't they about the same?

In favour of Atomic I'd say good standard open sights, lighter overall feel and slightly better grips.

In favour of FN6 I'd say better balance, bullet proof build quality and very easy to work on. You mention the longer cocking sequence on an early FN as a downside but personally I would prefer it as it's relaxing to operate and I found the Brocock bolt harsh on my girly little fingers after a while

Hi Andy, hope you're well, many thanks for your input.
I'm selling my last two rifles to fund a few pistols.
I've had the FN6, found it a little nose heavy buy probably sold it to fast.
I've handled an Atomic and liked the balance but remember the skinny grips.

I'm fed up buying and selling pistols and one to get this purchase correct.

Next .... do I also get a Twinmaster Top ..... or may be a Silver Star and a HW4O !!!!

    Cheers

I've had a couple of HW40's and whilst accurate, I think they're soulless and boring......Not a comment ever levelled at the Silver Star I think?

I still love shooting Crosman pumps for some reason, what happened with your Hipac 2240?

I broke up my last 2 HiPAC projects to fund a .25 springer then for some hiking gear.

I'm looking to get buy 2 decent pistols.

    I've been offered a Rohm Top and a FN6.

But I've seen a Silver Star and that really floats my boat.

To many pistols and not enough cash !

I agree about the Hw40. It has no "feel" but has a great trigger and is self contained.

Does the Top vary in power I've read 3.5 - 4.5 fpe from the box.

Should raise £525 Top, FN6, Silver Star, Atomic or Hw40 ..
