    HELP: FWB 124 Sport

Just been given one of the above to look at, it cocks and makes a noise like it's firing but the pellet doesn't leave the breech - I think the piston seal has come off the piston and is stuck at the top of the cylinder.

I've not had one of these apart before any do's or don'ts? Anything to watch when disassembling etc?

    Cheers, Paul.

    FWB

Common fault on FWB's the piston seal degrades , getting the rifle apart isn't a problem , and getting it back together is ok as long as you've got access to a spring compressor , hope this bit of info helps.

Hey Paul. You need to look at some strip downs first. I.J. has a good one on his photo album thingy. A search should bring it up.

Thank you guys and especially Ian for that detailed break-down!

There's one thing about the BBS you can rely on and that's those fine chaps who frequent the collectors corner.
