I'll be trying out my new Verminator Mk2/Viper Connect combo on Sunday. My first Viper Connect had the AMD reticle but this second SCB job looks more useful. The centre cross plus surrounding "box corners" light up.

Couldn't find any photos of how it would sit on an S410 so here is one http://i.imgur.com/5y39p.jpg
The scope objective is right over the magazine, clearance is 5.7mm. The "A" dim of these mounts is 24mm. see here http://i.imgur.com/bt60d.jpg
I want the scope as low as possible for good cheek fit, I make it that the minimum "A" dim is 18.3mm.
Sportsmatch 30mm high mounts are 21mm so will probably try those. Although thinking about it it's only 3mm different!
Does anyone know of a 30mm mount with a 19mm "A" dimension?
I am considering a 120mm one piece mount but concerned it will only have about 50mm bite onto the rifle.
By the way fullbandit is that your normal position for the scope on the rifle? It looks about 2 inches further forward than mine! Do you lean your head forward as far as you are aware?

From our sponsers, says 19mm, I use a higher version of these on my Taipan with weaver mounts, a bit different to get used to when fitting, but work well.
Yes I've just ordered some. It will be tight over the mag but will hopefully just work.
I was looking at the trigger position to compare like with like amd it looked very different. I will have another look.
EDIT: well on his HW100 it looks like the gap between the two turrets is over the trigger (especially in the first photo), on mine the gap between the two turrets is about 2 inches behind the trigger.

Arggh, was looking at Ash's Edgun, not Fullbandit's HW100.
Mind you, mine is even further back than either.

Here is a picture of one of mine on the Cutlas. Fantastic scope. The field of view is huge for such a small scope.

I've said from day 1 the biggest factor in fitting the connect is the shooters neck

if a different shooter liked his scope an inch forward you could use lower mounts
NS200
fitted one to mine today and think it works better than the hawke i was using it on last night (Barry never told me he had the connect adapter with him till this morning)

Having taken a look through a connect on the MTC stand at Kelmarsh I have picked one up and am very pleased with it so far - I have it on my old RN10 and am trying this out for HFT. So far have done our club course with it with very good results - wide view does help you see what the wind is doing around the target much better than the standard scopes do - should help on gusty days and we get plenty of those....
Will use it at the Bunny Bash tomorrow (40 target CHFT format) - if you have not tried one of these take a look - feedback from everyone who has tried mine so far is very positive.

Connect seems to work really well for HFT - depth of field really good for the Classic HFT format of last weekend - could even see the pellet strick on a plate at over 60 yards as well as having a usable view at 8 yards. No noticable parallax issues either - just need to make some mods to the rifle and we are in business....
