Air pistol version of Browning Hi Power?

I've been doing a web search, without success, for an air pistol version of the Browning service pistol. I've seen the Colt 45, Beretta92, CZ75, CP88, etc, but no Browning. Just nostalgia really; 22 years of shooting one in the forces. Anyone know of one?

    There is no air
pistol version of the Browning. There is however a pretty good Airsoft blowback version. Just google W.E. Browning high power. It is full metal ,6mm, made by Wei Tech in Taiwan. Available to registered Airsoft players at around £ 90.
    Pete.

Thanks for that. I found a supplier but I've never done airsoft and couldn't now realistically get into the sport so I guess that option is out... Though there is a site not far from here, I think, but it might be paintball not airsoft I might go and see what they do and how flexible they are about what is needed for membership.

Airsoftworld's shop is just down the road from me, and they also run an airsofting skirmishing thingmy near Kirkcaldy. Searching, as FT suggests, brings them up as being stockists.

Bit daft that you can legally buy a Tanfoglio Witness in .177 without any such restrictions

Really? Is this something that is already released or to be released soon? I must get down to Smiths and get a copy of the mag if I can!

There is nothing showing in the CO2 list of the airguns section on the Umarex web site

Now this one looks the part, Rikard, though the review says it is a bit light and it is an air pistol, if only they are available in the UK!

And this one strips authentically and is solid, hwtyger, though the silver finish apparently isn't very durable, but it is soft air which is a problem here.

I bought a copy of Airgunner today and saw the advert you mentioned Now I just need to find a stockist within travelling distance of here.

I can see joining this BBS is going to be bad for my bank account

    KWC

    Hello,
I know KWC make a nice Airsoft 6mm BB version in full metal. They make a lot of 4.5mm / .177 metal BB guns for the Cybergun and have produced the rather good full metal Tanfoglio Witness (US Colt M1911) which is a great blowback plinker.
My point is that perhaps Cybergun will get us a Hi-Power soon?
    regards,
    Alan
