They have been around for at least 35 years
Has anyone heard of these?
It is an under leaver pistol.

i have the set of this range of pistol including the rare multi shot bb version.
the centre was surprisingly good quality, floating load port sys.
semi trgt with adj notch sights.and grips l/h or r/h
now becoming collectable so a clean boxed example with the gamo pellet tin [full ]
as well worth hanging onto.
should have a black crackle finish frame and an unusually good quality blued action.
yes stand corrected must stay off that cheap aussie wine.
thats the other one getting very difficult to get hold of [relum hurricane]past the chance
of a few over the years, never thought of them becoming collectable[lol]

I CAN RESIST EVERYTHING EXCEPT AN FWB,
yes it was a good pistol, a lot of the ideas came from an unlikley source Relum of Hungary, compare if you will the Hurracance pistol carbine.

Errr... no they don't. The pellet sits in the swing-out loading chamber and then is puffed into the throat/barrel on firing. This sort of jumpage makes all the loading tap type systems less accurate than the break-barrel and true direct loading systems. Also loses alot of high pressure air around the two sides of the swing-out breech.
They are nicely conceived spring-piston target pistols but they are twangy and suffer alot from the two-way recoil of the springer. A master shooter could probably get some accurate shooting out of them but they will be hard on a beginner.
Good lickle plinker though.
I had one once with the crackle finish, seems well made but I couldn’t hit a thing with it.
I have won comps with .22 Ruger and Vostock pistols so what you have to do with the Gamo to hit targets is beyond me.
Sold it for a song years ago.
Nasty, plentiful, and people want loads of money for them
Hi Guys,
Thank you all very much.
It has the swing out loading port. I had a go at a local Gun shop and i have to say it was smooth and fairly accurate over the 8-10 yrd range he had out back. Bull and a couple close.
Think i'll be going back for it.
Once again many thanks.

I have one of these
I find it a joy to shoot, very accurate. I also shoot a FAS604 and a for a springer the Center is a good pistol for target work
loaded by a swing out side bit and cocked by an underleaver
