SIHFT Round 6 at the Oaks 8th July

We are over half way through the season already!

Next round will be at the Oaks on Sunday 8th July

Plink will be open at 8:30 and signing will start from from 9:00 (latest), safety briefing at 9:50 (all shooters must attend), competition starts at 10am

As usual the course will be set to UKAHFT 2012 rules (small & distant)

Post code is BN41 2RF Mile Oak Farm and HFT signs will be out at the farm incase you have not been there before.

Please drive slowly through the farm.

We fully expect to have a Burger Van present (but failing that there is a farm shop on site that does some food)

We plan to leave the course in the wood open after the shoot along with a set of sihlouette targets for any that want another go whilst the scores are totted up - details on the day.

    See you all there

Cheeky beggar, I would have used the HMR, don't miss much with that, unfortunately 132ft lbs is a tad overpowered for HFT

Yes Wood course looks really good....might be a few naughty words in there..
Thanks to all The Oakies...(Loads turned out) for setting it whilst i slept in.....

At least i turned up in time to move one that was perfectly alright in the first place........sorry..

We shall make the field very 'Wind friendly'.....if you get my Drift...or your Drift...

I have even contacted Sparky about the Kneeling Position that seems to upset some people and it is not illegal to use the post with the legal three points of contact!
One difference now is that kneeling pegs should only be 4" high, so that will stop people worrying about it

An extra wind machine on order so it should be great fun!!

Yes my faux pas, I thought you weren't supposed to use the peg anymore for support on an un-supported shot, forgot that it's just the peg thats shorter to stop said action...
