Im after a mainspring 17mm external diameter and minimum 140 mm long.
wire size, internal diameter, pre load and general condition not reaaly important as i can work with it , posted in collectables because its for a Diana 1/ milbro scout, springs now obselete

Hi RickyH,
you probably need a spring from an air pistol; I've just measured up an old one from a cheap SMK breakbarrel pistol at 17mm diameter by 135mm length. Maybe some kind person on here could find a closer match otherwise try Protek Supplies, send an e-mail with measurements maybe.

I may have something suitable. It is 16.5 mm o.d. and about 160 mm long.It will fit inside the piston ok but unsure if your mainspring guide tube will fit. You are welcome to have a look. Bring your piston and guide tube with you. I have a couple of others but only 15mm o.d.
