    To fit a scope to a 2240 the best mod is buy a metal breech for it with built in 11mm dovetails for scope mounts.

    You can buy these from SD custom design or Gmac.

    when you fit one of these you can also do away with the barrell band as they will support the barrell so it can be free floating which i'm told increses accuracy.

    money pits
