After sporadic reading for a few years, with special interest in the springer tuning/modding section, I have signed on, and have started to visist the forum a bit more actively.

Am trying to read up on your rules and understand a bit of your forum culture, please be patient with me, and excuse my shortcomings in the english language!
Happy new year to all!

I can't say welcome, as I'm pretty much a newcomer myself, but it's good to see somebody from Norway, that's for sure! If you see my old acquaintance Geir Holmen, give him my best!
Happy New Year to you and yours!

Welcome to the forum Dag. Don't worry about your English, as it will be miles better than most of the guys on here, half of whom never learned to spell. My cousin married a chap from Sandefjord some years ago and we enjoyed a traditional wedding and excellent reception. All of the locals spoke better English than we did! Happy New Year.

Welcome along Dag
Welcome Dag.
Spent many happy days at Orland, Brekstadt on Winter and Summer excercises when I was in the RAF back in the 1970's. That's up on the Trondheim Fjord.
In the Summer it never got dark and in the Winter it hardly got light.
Cod fishing, Sky diving, Skiing and moonshine.
Oh, we did a couple of days work too.
Give my regards to Jan Larsen if you see him.
Thanks again!
Yes, the winters can get a bit long and dark, spent a year of my studies up in Steinkjer, at the north end of the Trondheims fjord, and one year was enough
The Trondheim area has some heavy moonshine traditions, but I'm not much of a drinker.
Hello mate .
And welcome to the forum .
All the best .
