I like Walther CO2 pistols - very competent tools - but my CP1 has sprung a leak from the tigger valve (just after I spent all the time on it and and re-shaped the grip), so it needs fixing before I can shoot it!

........still waiting for a reply from Bills Airgun Spares so I can get the bits I need.

So Bob, you will have to dust off another of the dozen or so CO2 match pistols youve got and give that an airing.

    Carbon League Round One.

I have the first set of six cards shot by Ian as the first entry in the Carbon League.

Lets not let Ian get away with winning this just because he was the only person to shoot some cards this month! I have seen them - and they are not that good (!) so lets get him beat or we will never hear the end of it!

If we have anyone else who would like to take part in this first round please get the back of your cards signed across the centre of the target (prior to shooting them) by Ian if you are at Rivvy or myself if you are shooting them at RMTC and return them for scoring.

Lets get this CO2 competition moving!

Remember MPL is shot during the last week of the month and the Carbon League is to be shot on the second week of every month so we have plenty of time to get them both completed, and you don't have to wait for a month between competitions so this should fill-in nicely and keep the interest alive!

Lets see how many gauntlets we can get slapped across your mush eh?

From the RMTC end we should be able to include John G, John W, Raymond, Richard, maybe Geoff and Jackie?.how about from the Rivvy end?

You could have quite a sore set of choppers come the end of the week!

.......or you could be the sole contestant and outright winner!

If you can bring down your c2 short of another light co2 powered pistol, i'll throw my hat in the ring so to speak (although i doubt i can challenge Ian's scores, poor as they were ).

    Good start - well done!

I see three members from the small RMTC have already taken part in the Classic Carbon League, but Steve Wilson is the sole competitor from the mighty ( read much bigger) Rivington Club - so come on Rivvy - give Steve a bit of support and get a few more entries for this good new opportunity to play with some more classic air pistols!

Dont rush em! At this very moment theres several members standing around the 'C.C.L.' poster wondering what it says.
Word of mouth, and a 'gee-up' with soon have them scurrying for their CO2 pistols.

I could get to see the official I.J. CO2 filling technique demonstrated tomorrow.

Once he has filled the cylinder in his own special way - it never seems to run out of gas - who does that remind you of ?

I have filled in the CO2 pistol types used that I know about - can you complete the info so we can see what types are being used ?
