Valuation with view to sale Webley Mk2 Service 0.177

Thinking of putting my Webley Mk2 Service 0.177 up for sale Action and barrel numbers match. I believe (dont know if its true) that being a 0.177 its worth more than 0.22 version. Reason for sale is its just lying in a cupboard, wont ever get used and its the only rifle I have left .. I have been building up my pistols and now have six.
So what do you think it would achieve. It has no rust or pitting and looks a lot better in real life than in pics.

Lovely rifle I would say in the region of £450. I am sure that one of the webley experts on here will give you a more accurate figure.

I would also go along with a valuation of £400-£450 for your Mk2 Service. As far as I'm aware, third series .177 examples are no more sought after than .22. The later .25 examples do however attract a higher price.

    Regards

l would go along with the others valuation of your Service in that condition, and .177 is more desirable and does have a premium over .22 as not so many about.

I have two of these - neither of which is in as a good a condition as yours.

I agree - £450 is a reasonable price for you to ask.
