sounds hopeful then Bob.
Just have to sit tight and wait for it to work itself out then.

I am sure the matter is receiving the full speed attention it deserves!![]()

in that case we will get an answer at some point in 2014 then![]()
Good News!
I spent some time down in the club cellar last Saturday with various members of various church committee's and it looks like it was time well spent as all of the problems we have had recently have been resolved.
Bad News?
We could do with some volunteers this Saturday to do some more work on the range
Good News!
I have also negotiated the removal of those very large and heavy lumps of slate (ex-snooker tables) that are stacked down the left hand side of of range.
Bad News.
We have to get rid of them ourselves!
Good News.
I have requested that we have some heating included in the next round of church expenditure to keep some residual warmth in the cellar. This (of course) is to protect the fabric of the building from future deterioration due to damp etc.
This does appear to have been met with general approval and we have discussed where the storage heaters would be best located.![]()

That's cracking news Bob.
Time well spent indeed.
It was good to see "pre-op" Ian Jones at the club tonight, as it gave us the chance to cheer him up and make him feel better about the oncoming ordeal of surgery.
Despite several well intended offers to help with the cutting and anaesthetic - as well as some additional exploratory surgery here and there - Ian seems determined not to let us "have a go" and continues to spoil our fun by insisting on letting the surgeons do it at some sort of "official" hospital in Manchester tomorrow morning.
Oh well, we did our best to help and to cheer him up , and I know deep down that he did appreciate it really as it was perfectly in tune with his own wicked sense of humour!
We know Ian like's to browse through the wide selection of pre-read books the church always have for sale in the main hall (to raise funds for the church) but despite our help, we could find nothing by Sally Morgan or any of the other spiritualists so Ian could let us know where he has hidden all his guns if something were to go wrong
Anyway, Ian has our best wishes and we hope he comes back to annoy us again as soon as possible!![]()
