An old codger here!

Been looking at this Forum for a while and now joined.

A very informative website by excellent contributions from which I have gained much information, so thank you to the many that have enlightened me. You are also guilty of starting me off collecting!

In my youth, in early 60's, I started off with a secondhand Original 0.22, model? and then a new Meteor, both long gone. In earley/middle 80's I bought a new Airsporter S 0.22, still have it in its original box, only shot some of the pellets that was in a small tube supplied in the package it came with.

For just over a year, I have started collecting and restoring/maintaining and can't stop!! Typically 60 to 80's British and German springers, about 13 now and still counting. Made a spring compressor with adaptors I can fit so that I can safely clamp the awkward block on the Challenger/Mercury/Airsporter models. Thoroughly enjoying it!
