    Cool Crosman 1077

    Hi,

is it possible to fit a bipod to a 1077? Has anyone done this? My son who is now 10 is starting to take an interest in plinking....looking for something that would be comfortable for him and also be acceptably cool! Any suggestions?

I've seen those cheap plastic ones used, they just clamp round the barrel as you open out the legs, like a scissor action - should do the job.

Thanks for the link. I was hoping to find out if the stock would take a screw without damaging the cylinder with C02 in it?

Whip the stock off and then you can drill it and fit a QD stud with a nut on the back.
I don't think you'll be able to use a conventional screw in stud in that thin plastic.

My boys enjoy their Crosman 2260. Co2 bolt action scope and bipod. The rifle cost me £95 s/h from the local RFD and the Harris bipod was also s/h from this sales section only 3 and a bit lbs in weight and about 10 ft/lbs
