    holts giffard

    hi all
    can anyone tell me what the giffard rifle went for in the recent holts auction. i forgot to make a note of the lot
    number. also, can anyone remember what caliber it was. many thanks.

    MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE AN 8mm (SHOT AND BALL) CO2-POWERED AIR-RIFLE, MODEL GIFFARDS PATENT, serial no. 9399, Estimate £700 - £1000

    Sold for £700 hammer so about £880 with commision.
