Hi all
Some time ago at my last club a chap had what appeared to be quite an old C02 pistol.
It wasnt an immatation of a "real world" pistol
It was
Semi Auto
Had a GREAT trigger
had a stack magazine in the handle
fired pellets (cant remember the calibre)
the grips were brown plastic
Goodness was it fun
Now i think id like one but i dont really know what im looking for..
Can any one help i know its not much to go on
Paul

Could it have been a Crossman? If so, Blackpool Air Rifles have a secondhand one for sale:

Scroll down the page. Hope it is what you are looking for.

The 600 .22 holds 10 in the horizontal mag.The 677 .177 holds 13-15 depending on what you are shooting. In the pic my 600 is top on right with 677 below.
There have been 4 600's for sale in the last 3 weeks.

Hiya Baz
I assume the .177 677 gives better accuracy..? Given its only C02
As an owner how do you rate it as a pistol as i say it felt great to me, but i only put 20 shots thro it..
any comments..?
The 677 is not as accurate as it has a plain bore barrel (no rifling) and was made to shoot bbs.You can shoot certain wadcutter pellets through it.I would forget the 677, it was only manufactured for 1 year and is very rare. Regarding the 600, everyone interested in shooting air pistols should have one, they are a really good performer and great fun to shoot. It would be one of the last pistols I would sell from my collection.

Cheers Baz
So is there any one out there who can still service these 600s.
Im not a collector and would certainly hope to use it at my club.
In terms of pellets what do you find works best in the 600 .... (can you tell im convincing myself.. ).
NB: the BAR advertised pistol looks like it had all the bluing stripped at some point in the past i kinda like that original look
Cheers
Paul
I can repair them but I only do my own. A well known guy called Lawrie Amatruda will re-seal them. They are painted, not blued, as they are made from zinc alloy. There are a few around that have been nickel plated. The ones in our club prefer Crosman Verminpel, but other wadcutter types also work.
