Hi All
Excellent turn out today - just a couple short of 80 competitors – to do honour to a splendid course put out by the Horsham Hawks hosts, offering much to challenge all ‘normal’ people; but that definitely excludes Sam and Peter
In Sam’s case that was his 5th ‘clear’ (scoring 100%) round and makes me suggest we check for indications that inside that outer skin there is something other than pure cyborg
Here are the full results – in the usual format – and with the usual request for you to PM me if you believe you spot any errors or omissions.

I apologise for the mix up of the scores recorded for the Iden’s Pearces – Mr & Mrs results were inadvertently reversed as we translated them to the spreadsheet. As a result, Roy was awarded a Bronze when in fact he had earned a Silver. Please remind us and make the swap at Buxted on the 15th September..
Three new Platinum badges awarded today – to Tony Archer, Steve Light and Chris Tyhurst. Very well done guys.
Team Results – superb performance from Iden Fern, leading today’s team win with a fine 281; the best team score since SIHFT 2013 Round 1. Buxted made a good comeback too, against rivals Mile Oak who slithered in to today’s 3rd place position. While Swallows FTC remains firmly in its established last place, I wish to thank all the team for turning out and with a special mention to the Noakes family who this morning drove down south from somewhere in Lincolnshire to be here for us. With this level of commitment, I’m sure we’ll be rising through the ranks soon

Winners of today’s drawer prizes were Phil Moody – a Horsham Hawks newbie – collecting the £39 bonus bunny and Richard Gallop – another newbie (returning to HFT after a break) - winning the Air Arms goodie bag.
The SIHFT now enters another brief ‘break’ period, with Round 9 not scheduled until the 15th September at Buxted. However, there’s plenty going on to keep your eye ‘in’, with two UKAHFT rounds at MAD on 31st August and 1st September and the ‘not-to-be-missed’ Air Arms RN10 Cup event on the 8th September.
Today’s scores will have resulted in quite a few moves – both up and down – in the SIHFT individual championship and I will post the update here in a couple of day’s, to give you time to point out any errors I may have made in the table above.

Well done Iden Ferns for another good result, you are slowly chipping away at those points. Pity I could not be there to perhaps help out.The rubber bands broke on the car again. But keep at it we will get there in the end
