Hi Andi,
Missed you at the club last night, hope everything is okay.
I've got three of the July MPL scores from last night.
Ian Jones 45+45+45+43= 178
John Gould 44+42+39+39= 164
Glen Moulton 39+38+36+36= 149
I was back to the colander target last night.
You missed all the excitement last night. Had to get the air ambulance out last night for Geoff. He suffered a serious paper cut from a 5 ruble note that Ian Jones used to pay his subs.
This years Dorset partner,
Glen.
Will do.
I already sent you Grahams scores by email ready for you to add to your score chart.
Shame you missed Geoff's minor paper cut - it may have been too small to see without an optical aid - but it was the most serious injury he has had since he shot my Model 5 when he claimed it almost broke his wrist
We may not see him tomorrow night as he will probably have taken to his bed until his mingle is mended

Thanks Ian,
1st post updated.
In the first round of the Summer 2013 MPL series I noticed that Paul Wrey scored a measly 177 with his technically superior WEBLEY PREMIER, whilst Ian Jones ( President of the Webley Air Pistol Fan Club) actually beat him with his very modest Steyr LP10 by scoring a superb 178.
Pauls WEBLEY PREMIER has also had the advantage of being nicely run-in as it has been around since the 1970's, whereas Ian's Steyr LP10 is almost brand new, so he had very little chance of competing in this David v Goliath competition - but still managed to achieve this crushing victory.
Well done Ian - great result

Thank you. It was a crushing blow to 'Hippo' and one in the eye for Wobbly pistol owners. (Actually I used a FWB65 as my Steyr isn't eligible for this compt but then you would have thought the originator of the rules would have known that! )
I just wonder what the result would have been like if Paul (Hippo) had kept at least one eye open while shooting.
The next round of the MPL starts from Sunday the 25th!

Ian may I be the first to congratulate you on a crushing victory.
My therapist has booked a round the world cruise on the back of this humiliating loss :-)
As you know I also had the option of using an inferior German recoiless sludge system pistol. But unlike you, being a win at any cost guy, I used the best of British and was still thrashed.
I can only apologise to the legions of Wobbly match pistol owners out there.
I am now seeking one to one tuition in order to redeem myself in round 2.
Your humbled servant sir.
