    Crosman Tokarev vs Gletcher?

Is the Gletcher a reworked Crosman with blowback or a completely different gun?

    Which is best?

Nevermind about the Tok, they're selling a Luger P-08 blowback! Me wants! where can you buy them from (apart from Peru)?

You can't buy anything decent here.

I'm just dreaming about when I return to the UK next year.

I've heard the blow back Lugers made by WE are nicely built but very unreliable. Unfortunately they are also 6mm plastic bb firers.

I am almost certain they are the same pistol. I own a Crosman ctt and if you remove the slide and look at the underside you can see that all the parts for the blowback unit are there, but the gas seal is not fitted and the vent for the gas in the valve is blocked. It would be simple enough to make the Crosman into a blowback version if needed.
The blowback on the Gletcher is very short and weak.......hardly worth the effort and extra use of gas, imho.
The C-TT is a very fine pistol, with the smoothest, lightest d.a. trigger I have ever used......accurate too with quality bb.

The CTT is a fine pistol.
One of the best of the recent release.
    Very satisfying in all areas.

Still puzzled as to why Crosman went Russian tho!

I think you'll find the Crosman and Gletcher are both made by someone else in Taiwan.

    Correct.

Most of the gas blow back .177 bb pistols are made by the makers of the same model of 6mm airsoft pistol, as they have been making the airsoft versions for donkeys years.
It is only recently that the .177 versions have been made popular.

I know where they are made.
I meant why did Crosman suddenly decide to market a model of a Russian gun?

    Increased interest in classic weapons?

Americans like Russian guns. The full bore Makarov is very popular across the pond.

The Tokarev is an iconic pistol.

Under Obama, the Yanks are finally turning into socialists.

Joking of course. Or maybe not.
