What sort of groups can it achieve? I have been thinking about a green mountain for my ruger. Is it a tight chamber?
Just had one of these built
Green mountain 16" fluted barrel
Boyd laminate thumbhole stock
Utterly beautiful , fantastic balance, shoots tiny groups
And what a nice guy to deal with too
Highly recommended

i'm watching this one how do they group at 100????
Mmmm if a semi auto .22lr could group like my .17hmr at 100m I would buy it immediately!
A Green Mountain barrel has a match chamber so it's tight.

Nice barrels, had one on my ruger 10/22 built by roger at syss. shot subs and hv with no issues.
roger, is a nice chap to deal with.
Chinese springer 0.22, HW100 .177. Selection of powder burners
When there were extra pies to eat, I avoided them.
I ve got some pix of 10 shot 100yd groups shot at short siberia from a decent rest when I was just getting used to the gun- can email these
Yes the chambering is tight, but it will digest a hell of a lot of subs before the first extract failure
Its around an inch, would probably do better on a completely wind free day and from a pair of sandbags
It likes the SK subs made by Lapua
Yes Roger is a very nice chap, and makes a lovely rifle
I wonder if I have seen you with this rifle. Perhaps shooting on Century, 100 yards bench a few weeks back?
If so, I was on the next bench to your right.
Very nice rifle!
Hi
Any chance of posting some pictures up as i am considering ordering one of these.
Thanks

That's right, I am well behind on getting loads for that rifle exactly right but I am close.
I took its first deer the following week, a nice little 6pt roe buck.
As for antics, the loose dog belonging to what looked like tent contractors was a right pain in the a, maybe that was before you got there.
