    The weather report looks good.
    Archery frame completed
Now to sort out some arrows for the clout comp.

I will also bring a target box and targets for a long range (50 yd) rifle competition

    BBQ

I hope everyone enjoyed the event

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to making yesterday such a good day out.

Special thanks to Kim for the venue and to Paul D and friends the RC Jet pilots for putting on an impressive display and risking their planes in tricky conditions.

Some very good shooting on the FT course. Good to see some older type rifles being put to good use and some good performances in the clout archery.

John: big thanks to you, Chris, Kim, and everyone else that helped, we had a great time and really enjoyed it. I'm glad that the extra charcoal I brought was put to good use! Thanks again for setting up the archery range, that was a lot of fun, and for setting up Sophie's bow for her.

I hope to make it out to Melbourne again soon, see you then!

    Recurve archery

    No problem Rob

Archery is a fantastic hobby and I only wish I had taken it up when I was young

Try and encourage Sophie to get a good coach and to take up competitive target recurve archery, it's a great sport for young people
