Melbourne Marksmen are holding another collectors club meeting/airgun fayre. This will take place on Saturday the 15 Feb (11 am to 5 pm) at the RBL Club Melbourne. A bell target Open Shoot will also take place on our range.
This is the day before a collectors fayre at the B.M.Museum Jnc. 6 on M42
Tables for sellers will again be free of charge. So no need for a bring and buy stall. Even if you just wish to sell 1 rifle or pistol you are welcome to attend and display the gun or spares
No trade, just enthusiasts/collectors selling or buying or exchanging
We will also be organising a target shooting Open Competition during the afternoon with prizes for the winners
There will be a nominal charge at the door of only £2 which gives free entry to the competition
More details to follow.
If you wish to attend, either to sell or buy, please pm me so that we are aware of numbers and who is attending
The range will be available for testing airguns you may wish to buy
Edit 1: A raffle prize has been kindly donated by one of the collectors attending and is a very nice collectable classic rifle with period scope
Edit 2:Setting up by sellers will commence at 10 am.
Doors will open for buyers at 11 am.
The belltarget comps will commence 11.30 am
Edit 3 - All tables now taken

Bit of an awkward weekend.
I'm down at the Shooting Show Saturday but I'll try and pop in afternoon .
“Let us not dwell on the distance we have fallen short, let us dwell on the distance we have travelled" !
It will be another great event and high praise goes to the Melbourne Marksmen for continuing to bring collectors together. I am at the British Shooting Show that day so won't be able to attend but it will be a fabulous day fro anyone who takes the trip to Melbourne.
Hi Brider/Charlie
Looks like it is going to be a busy weekend for me. I always go to the Shooting Show as it provides an opportunity for me to pick up particular batches of AA pellets for myself and other benchrest shooters at Leics & District Club.
However I have found that Sundays are the 'quiet' days at the S.Show and hopefully I will sell more than I buy at the Melbourne Collectors Fayre and have a bit of spare cash. The shooting show is also good for testing/buying scopes, so fingers crossed there will be some offers on.
For the Fayre, I will again list the guns for sale on this thread as the sellers confirm they are coming. I believe Paul will again be attending with quite a number of rifles from his collection for sale

Sounds good I will be there!
It'll be a first for me but I'll make every effort to got there. Sounds like a great event.
I predict this event will soon be taking place every two months.
Hopefully there will be a good collection of target air pistols for enthusiast, ...mike...
Only 6 weeks to go to the Fayre boys n girls - Should be another great event at Melbourne.
Hold onto your Christmas money and grab some airgun jewels at the fayre.
Life without happiness is no life at all.
