Webley Air Pistol: A very old lesson re-learned

Hi folks, I always knew it to be true that the pellets you used affected the power and accuracy of your gun, but I am just reporting the amazing difference with using some old ELEY wasps in my restored Webley MKII target model pistol. I had been using a modern cheap brand. Now that the barrel is the correct length, and not banana shaped, and the trigger let-off is light just about safe (I hope!) It has become a truly amazing addition to the collection. I expect a modern arm would still beat it hands down, but I bet it would out-shoot many a pistol made in the late '20s!

Enjoy Mr Delighted. They are certainly a worthy addition to any enthusiasts collection of classic guns that can actually shoot. Cant beat the old sized pellets in those old (straight) barrels!
