Deerhunter.
Go to the CLA or Midland and take a pocket full of money
Paramo smock or Acteryx in green.
I would go with the wax jacket.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once
Wax last but are heavy and don't breathe very well. Paramo last, breath plus there quiet and light.
get yourself a snugpak jacket mate, very good. www.johnbullclothing.com bit pricey from here but good service

Whilst I would normally sign the praises of Paramo gear, in this instance I can't recommend.Originally Posted by shrendi

I would definately recommend a Deerhunter Ram jacket, yeh it's cammo, but it is also a bl00dy good jacket, loads of pockets, waterproof, durable, warm but not too hot - all in all just about perfect as a hunters jacket.

Forget wax jackets, we don't live in the stone age any more!!!
You can get some very good, and reasonably priced jackets from Cabelas.com or if you want to buy British my dad really likes the Shark range of jackets, he's a goose guide so he's out in all weather 6 days a week through the winter.
