A couple on nice toys to play with

My collector friend has loaned me this Black Fox to take for a run.
It's the best handling and finest shooting air rifle I've ever shot, I wish it was mine. The design was and still is totally revolutionary and I think it's a work of genius.

Another one just for a laugh. Bought of G**star for £50. It had a leaking CO2 port seal, easily fixed. It's basically brand new - the seal had failed due to age and lack of use. Accuracy is very good with wadcutters, it's running about 6ftlbs on CO2 or pump. I've tried it with BBs and the fast fire action is definately fun, but it's more accurate with pellets. It's got one of those negative rifled barrels, the smaller BBs ride on the top of the lands and the pellet digs in. Daisy stopped making this gun because some kid in the states shot another kid with one and killed him, something about the BB storage not being visible. It's true when loaded with BBs you can't tell how many are in there and so I don't like to use them. I leave my CO2 guns with CO2 in them.
