For sale section??

Hi All,

It's been a while since I was on here (2011 was my last post) and I can't seem to find the sales section. I'm looking to buy a second hand air pistol for plinking (cp99 or similar).

Has the sales forum been removed?

Any help appreciated.

Davy, make sure you are logged in, go to the main forum page heading and scroll right down the page to sales section. Sorry, I have no CP99 for sale, only an Airmatch 600.

you need a few more posts before the sales section is available to you. This is so that people can build a reputation on the forum before taking part in a sale.

Oh right, that's weird, I've just checked back through my emails and have been a member since 2002 and last sold something in 2006 although when I look at my profile it says I joined in 2007 (the emails I have are to the same address that I'm registered with now).

Seems odd that having been a member for 12 years and been quite an active member for the first 6 of those that I'm not allowed to view the sales section??

Any ideas as to how I get to view it again?

Why don't you contact the Mods (link at bottom left of the page) and ask them? If they can verify what you are saying, maybe they'll give you access.

You probably joined before the rule about minimum post count / postal town so would have been able to see the sales section back then. When the feature was switched on, you will have lost access and been put into the moderated user group as you didn't have enough posts.

I did but I had several hundred posts under my belt back then, not to worry, it's all sorted now.

I've been busy with children (still am) and am just getting back into it all
