BSF
I am not a BSF expert but I have in the past owned a model 54 and a model 70.
Both had the same problem. The end of the piston rod which engages with the trigger sear was not up to the job.Small pieces of metal broke away from area that latches with the trigger sear.It looked as if the rod was made of an almost crystalline metal.
Pete.

I have the same trigger as this on my B55 http://www.pyramydair.com/blog/wp-co...ger-plates.jpg which, while it has a long first stage breaks crisply and lightly enough.
HW of course also made the Rekord trigger sear of a steel laminate too at one time
