Well S/No. 890054. So a 1980 model, fitted with nylon piston seal. Shoots very sweetly, so planning on getting it over the chrono tonight.

    Hi Ian

You have an impressive collection mate

Here's my Venom tuned 35, It's had the O-ring piston seal conversion and is uber smooth

The piston has been sleeved, it's had delrin tophat and guide and shims fitted to the breech to stop the reblue from being scored on cocking

I swapped it for my HW90

    Cheers, John

Nice. Steel bodied if my memory serves me right. I think they did them in lower mags 2.5, 3.5 etc the biggest being 4x. Nice period additions.

    Hi Ian

I had two of these Weaver scopes but gave the other to a mate on the other side of the Pennines

There was a glut of them about in the 80's, I had a few but failing eye sight (old age) meant that the target looked further away that it actually was when I looked through a 1.5

Well I can't believe what happened to me today.

I walked into a local gun shop unsupervised and agreed to purchase a HW35E in .22".

Is there a cure for this disease ?

    All the best Mick
