But I have found the answer!
Never thought it was that simple ....
The pin goes straight through the transfer port! this restricts the flow of air and that means less power.
In Germany there are strickt power limits for air rifles that means they can NOT be over 7,5 joule (about 6 ftp).
Think this was the easiest way for BSA to adapt a full power Buccaneer to a restricted power Trooper.
