Many thanks for all the effort that must have been put in behind the scenes to make the event the success it was; and well done for a significant contribution to a very worthy cause.
Best Regards,
Bill.
Just got the final figure for money raised for the Poppy Appeal
£775 which beats last years fayre by £75
150 people through the door which again is better than last year, so I think the RBL will be very pleased
Thanks to those who worked to put on this event and to all who attended and contributed to the funds raised

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
Trying to make contact with the fellow Webley enthusiast I was talking with in the queue who was from Newcastle.
Are you he by any chance? Drop me a message if you would.

A week on and as promised I've compiled some info on achieved prices from the Fayre which may be of interest, you'll find it in this new thread.
I bought a few copies of "New Zealand Airgunner" from 1986 and 88 which I understand were sent from NZ by Trevor Morris, an excellent read and very kind gesture with the proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal.
