Hey Chris, that's very kind of you to offer. Unfortunately I will be working the whole week so would in theory only attend the Saturday and Sunday but I understand you'll be there on Thursday so don't worry about me. The gesture is appreciated all the same

If you can work anything out, it'd be great if you can make it.

What a lovely gesture from Chris.

I'll see if I can figure something out. Would be great if I could catch you all again before the year is over. At this stage it's unlikely but who knows. Broke my one and only boinger recently too after getting all confident from taking apart and reassembling the '77 *facepalm* lol.

Fantastic excuse. Tell the folks that not having your trusty Boinger working is causing untold mental ailments. One of the Boinger Boys can fix for you, but you have to go to Quigley Hollow to get it fixed.

    Sorted!!

    Just a quick BOING!!!

I'm at work, so will log off very sharpish.

I can't take the credit for "Quigley Hollow", Gwyn. One of the chaps coined that little gem after the first BASH. It may have been Mick, maybe Matty Boy...can't quite remember.

See ya all later this evening.........BOING!!!

Some Sad News From Quigley Hollow :(

    Ladies and Gentlemen

Unfortunately due to the high winds this afternoon, our polly tunnel no longer has a roof.

Not an insurmountable problem really but a bit of a bugger.

I'm looking at a couple of options for the Bonfire night bash ---

    1) Bodge the old sheet back on for the bash and then let the winter do it's worse.

    2) Buy a new sheet for the event and then remove it before winter.

When the winds die down I'll assess the damage and if possible go with option 1 --- if the sheet is damaged beyond repair I'll just go with option 2.

There's no panic as the sheets come by next day delivery.

    All the best Mick

Cheers Dave --- no need to worry though.

All the eyelets have ripped out the sheet on one side and the ends, but I have a cunning plan involving some lengths of roofing lath, lots of nails, and a lot of rope.

Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
