Just added 'Hippos' score to the October list. A 182 before his 12 point bonus because he shot it with a ASI Centre. This included a 48 !!!!!!!!!!!

Its a good job Paul is my bestus mate.

Thats on the proviso I dont use it against him in competition. Its O.K. though as Hippos memory is like my legs - short.

Working on the same principal, I wonder if he wants me to fettle his ASI Centre?

Yes Mike I have the dubious honour of fettling Ians Brno :-)
But only as he's promised not to use it in the CCL, being stuffed by him in the Oct round has left me mentally scarred :'(

    Octobers final results.

    R.M.T.C.

    Mike Swales (FWB 80) - 183.
    Gareth Small - 171

    R.R.
    Paul 'Hippo' Wray - 182 (ASI Centre) so +12 = 194.
    Ian Jones (FWB100) - 186
    Steve (not) Wright - 170 (FWB80)
    'Do One' Ron Blair - 147 (FWB65)
    Mike (St) Barnyard - 139 (FWB80)

It appears that RMTC was brought down by a dose of the dreaded lurgy. You would think shooting against Mike with no sense of smell would be a benefit.
Perhaps if they didn't leave the competition shooting to the first, (or is it the last ) week of the month illness wouldn't be a problem.

Novembers scores should start coming in soon.

    Decembers MPL now due.

If any other club members wish to partake in the MPL pistol compts they are more than welcome. The rules are very basic.

It is with great, GREAT sorrow that I have to report that Paul 'Hippo' Wray had a bad shoot last Sunday in his MPL (February) competition. His score of 172 - yes, including his 12 bonus points included, get this, ONE in the white!!!
On the positive side I did learn some new words that dont appear in the Oxford English dictionary, or in fact any dictionary! Mutterings of "...loose sights", "....trigger falling off..." etc were to be heard. Whats the old saying - A poor workman blames his tools. On the down side my tears of joy froze on my leg.

    FEBRUARYS scores. (to-date)

    R.R.

    Ian Jones - 184 (FWB65)
Ron 'Do One' Blair - 176 (FWB 65)
    Paul 'Hippo' Wray - 160 (+12 bonus) = 172 (Walther LP****wit )

    RMTC.

    Mike Swales - 190 (FWB80)

Sores will be updated when received.

    184 with an ASI Centre?

    Crivens - that's impressive.

Dos it have a 9.95m long barrel per chance......?
