Umarex Walther PPK - Any tips?

I had one for a bit and tried gamo lead ball in it, the velocity is VERY low with these. It is a nice pistol to heft and the realistic recoil action is cool, but it is barn, rather than barn-door accurate and that is at a range of 3 feet. In terms of power and accuracy it makes a Webley Tempest look AWESOME.

I thought it would have been OK if it had been sold as a 6mm plastic pellet version, the increased velocity would have made it better, but there would be no easy way of converting it.

I hope that they have improved the ppk as the one I had years ago was pants (and for the mods that was the politest way to say what that pistol was like) there was a pin toward the rear of the pistol under the top slide that kept moving, 1/2mm ether way and it would not fire in the end I was that fed up with it I sold it and moved on to real air pistols
