Consultant said looks good but another 4 weeks of cast till next visit... Said I needed to cancel my little bit of winter sun in mid March I had booked as I wouldn't be walking on a sandy beach anytime soon + it was Northern Africa so did I really want to risk a trip to hospital with a pre existing problem ....... Naaahh !!

Best wishes with your recovery mate Shame about the holiday, but I guess you don't want to risk getting boinged up abroad.

Just by way of providing another bump for this excellent thread, I will share with you my plans for tomorrow morning.

I will be taking my freshly rebuilt Walther LGV and giving it a good plinking and zeroing session on the back garden out to 30 yards. Lets see what difference a PTFE piston sleeve and some fresh lubrication makes to it eh ??

    Enjoy your sesh, Neil.

The only thing is, with those nice fitting guides and new piston sleeve, there's little chance of any boingy happenings!

So, how did the non-boingy boinging session go today then, Neil?

    It didn't!!

Catastrophe - the partners brother fell off a ladder this morning so we were in Lincoln A & E for about 4 hours followed by considerable running around for various other things. Fortunately her brother is fine - just pretty well shaken up and bruised.

So the boinging session has been postponed - but hopefully I will find an hour or so tomorrow to try the LGV out again!!

Downright inconsiderate if you ask me!!

Interfering with a man's therapeutic plinking sesh!

I hope he's okay, Neil, and that you manage to get a session in today.

Aha, sounds like a well sorted, Snoop Glooped, spring operated air rifle.

Hope you're keeping well, sir, and looking forward to seeing you again.

Tony, as long as he is brought up to appreciate the finer springs in life payment is not required. Although a bacon butty wouldn`t go amiss
