    Webley Hawk value?

    Hi all,

I've got a Webley Hawk, with .177 and .22 barrels that i'm looking to sell. However i've no idea what its worth

Its together but it does not work properly and is a definite project gun. My father took the gun apart probably 20 years ago and it was in a loft untill 6 years ago when it was reassembled but has not been used since.

I'l upload some photos when i get chance.

    thanks
    mat

Value will be heavilly dependant on condition and just what is stopping the rifle working properly.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

I'll get some photos later and try and remember why its not working properly. It does fire ( or it did last time i tried! )

Had the gun out this morning. It cocks and fires as it should do, safety catch works! I believe it is well under power and could do with a complete rebuild.

These are the last photos i took of it. Foresight is no longer on it.

I just asked Mum about the gun as it belonged to Dad, she said she had never seen it put together in over 20 years!

It's a hard one to value, but I will say £80. I might be way off but it's a start. ATB Marsh.

    in the white?...

Gun looks like it is "in the white"...all finish removed back to bare metal?...stock looks like it has been stripped too? (or is it just me?)

I sold a similar condition Mk1 hawk with both barrels for £75 two or three years ago on here, so I think Marsh is on the money at £80 (even that may be a bit strong given its condition, sights missing etc,...) you would probably get more parting it out on the bay but that can be a lot of hassle too...
    blah blah

To be honest I don't think anyone on here would pay 80 for it. In its condition nearer 60 would see it sold.

have to say I agree, I only payed £70.00 for a mint one with both barrels, nice stock and blueing 2 years back. Sorry Matt.

I was originally thinking of putting it up for £50 so i'm quite happy with what you guys think its worth.
