i always wondered why everyone on here seems to have a prosport. my local shop had one for sale when i went in this morning, i just handled it out of curiosity realy, to see what all the fuss is about. five minuits later i was on my way home to get my s200 to trade in . so now i see what all the fuss is about, what a cracking gun. its one of those "you gotta shoot one before you croack" guns

i would say that a custom stock is well worth it, you'd never loose much on it as thair like chickens teeth
Custom stocks for a P/S would cost as much as the gun nearly, unless you impotrted one from the U/S in an unfinished state
Steve
buy a router, some stock blanks, and 200 yards of sand paper, start knocking them out. you'd make a fortune
Ah but where does I get me a stock blank?
Steve
has anyone tuned theirs, or are they smooooth enough????
try someone like craft supplies, woodturning or carving specilists, or even a carving club they are about. i'm sure there is some old bloke out there who would love to make one.
Got myself one this week as well So nice to hold.
had to adjust trigger slightly as it was a bit notchy on the first stage, but other than that it is sweet as a nut..

Have you seen any of the right-handers we converted to be usable for lefties? Although the palm swell remains, most customers are perfectly happy with them. Im sure you could modify one yourself with a bit of care, just don't try doing a beech one.

I've just had an email from Maccari that my LH stock is on its way!! $179 including post. I'll let you know when it arrives. In the meantime just have to use my 'patented' horse boot stock cover!!Originally Posted by Steve-O

No i didn't know about tuneing them, i was genuinely stunned at how smooth it is, what exactly does the venom kit enclude, and how much difference does it make???
Stage 1 includes a new spring, guide, piston washers and spacers, and a piston seal I think its called. Just makes the lock time quicker, and the gun a bit smoother.
Ultraglide, venom throw away the internals and replace yhem with shiny alloy ones...and a 12 week waiting list...
