Results 100m/ 109 yards SPRINGER shoot

    Hi all,

Last saturday in the Netherlands a 100m / 100 yards match for springrifles was organised.

Here the results and a pic of a small group (42mm).

Nice. What kind of power are they running at, 18J ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Gonna have to have a play.. now where do I find a 100 yard indoor range ? I guess just doing it @ 25yards and multiplying the groups by 4x is cheating

That's some shooting. I go weak at the knees when I connect with a 1/2" spinner at 50 metres
    Congratulations to all those involved.

16 joules is about 11.8 ft/lbs. Very impressive, makes me want to buy a springer and try it.

    Fantastic marksmanship

    Really interesting thread.
Proves the efficacy of long range shooting sub 12ft/lb and wih Springers too .
Well , the Germans have a whole industry built around 6ft/lb(or is it less ? ) maximum for airrifle and airpistol and they have coped .
We are so fortunate here .
    Who needs Fac .

You'll not regret it if you do -- superb fun, extremely satisfying when it all comes together and everything goes right (which it will do with practice), and alongside your PCP, a springer will ad yet another dimension to the enjoyment of your recreational shooting.

In general I think HW make the best spring guns.
And they now make very accurate pre charged too.

Interesting the winner was on a 10x scope.
    That's some shooting!
Would love to try this indoors at 100m but finding a venue is a problem.
