    That's exactly what we had in mind when we bought the Vito all those years ago....Once the bin lids had all buggered off, remove seats from the back and convert to sleeping quarters for our Italy road trips.

    Kids still here though for a few more years.

    It'd be a yes re the dog bit on my behalf, but not from the Mrs!

    And vans somehow put you into a more laid back driving state....ours is only a lower powered (80ps) diesel one and acceleration is very lethargic. But it doesn't matter, as it's more relaxing to drive. And we always get to Italy (or Monte Carlo, depending on which route we take) in WELL UNDER 24 hours door to door!

    My mates got a vw t4 camper (the one I'm hoping to borrow in November) and he mostly uses it for abductions. I believe it's a well known phenomenon D
