If I don't sort a home-made jobby, I'll certainly look into the bean bag alternative.

All this talk of bags and rests has reminded me that there were three rests left on the benches after the last Bash --- I have them stored ready for the owners to collect them.

I must also apologise to Gwyn for not announcing the arrival of his cheque the other day, looking forward to seeing you again Gwyn.

Have experience of "a few Bags in my time" including Caldwell and Stoney Point but for now, a couple of Primark sofa cushions seem to do the job !

Yep. I'd also thought along those lines, John; thank you.

Will see how the home made one goes first.

And the sleepy-o-meter says 33 today!

So that's just under five weeks for most....but only a little over FOUR weeks for some of the luckier folk that can arrive earlier!

Very well thanks Tone. Loving the Venom TX Mk1 with a Captain Bongo tophat & a lovely clear Simmons Whitetail 3.5-10. I DO miss the mildots....but hit the 60 yd golfballs 3 times in a row on Saturday. Not so good as it may sound though, since proceded and followed by many misses.

Off to camp & shoot this week-end at Iver in Bucks with The Benefit Boys airgun group merely a warm-up for the Hollow, of course.

    THE EVENT

    7th/8th November 2015 Boinger Bash

This will just be a weekend of chatting about guns, shooting, eating, drinking and getting to meet folks.

    THE PRICE

£20 including camping over the full weekend (3 nights or more if required)

£10 for just the one day attendance.

Part of this payment is for me to insure on the field so that folks without their own shooting insurance can attend.

    THE VENUE

    Higham Fields Farm
    Higham Fields Lane,
    Higham on the hill,
    Nuneaton,
    Warwickshire.
    CV13 6ET

    HOW IT WORKS

As the payment system I sorted out with our very own Mr Jim Tyler (BTDT) --- Lord of the Springs, worked so well the last 7 times we'll do the same again this time.

    1) Anybody who would like to attend simply sends a cheque for £20 or £10 (for one day) made payable to M Furniss (me) to my work address above
On the back of the cheque write your username, Forum, nearest postal town and the word "camping" if doing so.

    2) I hang on to the cheques until we reach the minimum break even point for portaloos, insurance etc before banking them.

    3) I will be scanning the cheques before banking them, so in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, can bank transfer your money back into your account.

    4) As cheques come in I will post your username/Forum/Postal town up on here with your cheques status ---received/Banked.

I will not be organising a licensed bar on site but as your cars will be accessible inside the site I suggest you bring your own.

And as always I've booked Crazy Kev to do the catering over the weekend.

Targets will include 200 Spinners, 2 Bell targets (10mm and 20mm), 40+ silhouette targets and the 61mmX 61mm Quigley Bucket out at 75 yards.

And a Magpie on a pole specially for Paul Doyle.

If there are any questions please ask on this thread and I will answer them here to save repetition.

Thank you once again to Jim

    All the best Mick

is the post code good enough to get me there,

Post code will get you close enough to follow the springs but any satnav should find Higham Fields Lane without a problem. Have a quick look at google earth and it's right behind the MIRA test track.

Never and I repeat never go into the woods at Quigley hollow --- Bongo lives there guarding the sacred KitKat tree.

CV13 6ET is the farm and six houses on the opposite side of the road to the Boinger Bash site so it should take you straight there using twat nav.

    All the best Mick
