25 metres indoors, just shot some of my tightest groups at the club last night..

Not really that bragworthy, but really to underline the great accuracy that airguns are capable of compared with our powder burning breatheren..

Bench rested (front rest only, no rear) obviously no wind, 25m (28 yards), 5 shot groups with JSB exacts:
    1x 3.5mm c-c
    1 x 4mm c-c
    1x 4.5 mm c-c

With a non pa 9x mag scope. I'm sure with a bit more mag and concentration, and a rear rest bag I could squeeze even more out of this gun, or at the very least keep them all to 3.5 And the noisy buggers shooting their 1894 marlins next to me probably didn't help either Then again, my groups were much smaller than theirs - in fact, I could fit them all inside their single bullet holes

Just for fun, you get to guess the gun used

I have voted for the rapid, why because I have seen a few good ones.

My new-to-me (thaks Stu) FWB was very good, and I've a feeling it could do it, but it was throwing flyers every 4 to 5 shots. I've not even got around to cleaning the barrel, so will do so, and will then take Mike's suggestion of JSB express or RS.

So it's NOT the FWB (currently leading the vote with 57%)

OK, I'll end the suspense... It was the Pro Elite

I was pretty surprised too to be honest. Not bad for a recoiling sringer heh ? You aren't supposed to be able to bench them... ? Yeah, right

However I reckon the SR and the FWB could be just as capable, so I'm going to give them a go next week. The 22mm TX doesn't seem to have quite such a good barrel as the other TXs, but I'll give it a whirl. I'll probably test the rapid too, so it doesn't feel left out... they have feelings too, you know..

Artfull bodger and Al win the kudos for their correct guesses

Probably not as good as the old HW77,off a bean bag 3/8 groups at 55yds at LVAGC,reminds me of the old days at Markyate with Terry ,Mark and Dave Welham.
Brings a tear to my eye it does! .
Nothings so good as a well known springer(HW77 that is 25mm?).
By the way on egun.de there is a spring for FWB300 around £14.
