I have an AR15 which shoots 69g SMK with 21.4gr of XBR8208 well, had this out as far as 600m with good accuracy. Even with the short 16" 1:7 barrel.
I now use XBR8208 for both .223 and .308

BSA Mercury .22, Steyr SSG69, Enfield No4 Mk1*, Schmeisser AR15 Ultramatch, 1938 Mauser KKW K98 Trainer.
the twist is not always exact
I have a sako that is about 1/2" off
as its 1:14.5" rather than 1:14"
add that to a marginal bullet and I went from shooting "bug holes" with 52gr Amax to putting them into the target on a spiral tangent (sideways splash marks, not truly sideways)
pulling the tips changed that completely
with tips:
group size approx 4-7"
without tips, group size 1" (strung as much to do with me whizzing through them to show the holes not the accuracy rather than the load)
52gr Amax vs a 60gr Honady SP that shoots sub 3/4"
Armageddon tipless hollow point Amax!
Now that's a Meplat!!
Thanks for looking
