I would say it is very clean with no bumps and good bluing, I rebuilt it (first time apart) with new spring and seal maybe 18 months ago for him, and it was doing 11.7 with wasps, and 11.1 with AA fields.

Any ideas on value for this one

Dunno Ed but but I own a mint example which Johnbaz has seen and I'd value mine somewhere in the region of £350 maybe more. Its fired about 30 of the BSA .177 pellets that came with it and lives in the cabinet.
Bought new and one of the last Airsporters sold in a British gunshop in 2001 (letter from BSA confirming) !

Not to worry Derek, It didn't come across as so

'Mint' is actually a term used for the condition of currency as most people likely know! (Condition that it left the mint in!)

Still, If someone has bought a gun new and fired one pellet without incident and put the gun away unscathed then to me, It's still mint!! Even though it's never been to the actual mint!!

It was suggested that it can't be mint as it's fired a shot!!

    I got one for you.
BSA 635 Magnum only fired the pellets that came with it. Absolutely no marks anywhere.
It is as factory no screws turned or sights mounted.
I would say this is my only "Mint" rifle in my collection.
