I thought it was the shells but not so.
I have a couple of SA6s and although they are stripped, polished and have wood grips they are a bit dowdy compared to the newcomer.
They shoot .22 pellets loaded at the front and are a few decades old now!
There is no comparison in accuracy.
The SA6 wins
At 6 yards standing one hand shooting the bull vanishes.
The Umarex has the fps and the looks and the occasional bull.
The SA6 can be fanned too -with no accuracy!
Pellet gun wins again.
I fired up my old Hahn which shoots H&N lead ball for another trial and this one is much less accurate than the Umarex.
So maybe a fairer comparison and shows how far BB guns have come.
Its worth cleaning inside the Peacemaker shells with cotton buds and a little lube. A couple of mine felt gritty and gave the odd flyer till i did this. I use the Qtips to clean the barrel too. Push down from muzzle to cylinder with wooden skewer and fire out. ATB. Pete.
