    Lightbulb

    Hi Jon,

Yes it seems like it does change from the mk1 even the actual sear that attaches to the trigger seems different to my mk1, along with the spring.

I'm not sure if the mk2 shares all the same sears as mine but the ones I have see on google images are deffinately different to mine.

According to Chambers, the Mk1 and Mk2 are the same, but Mk3 onwards differ.

Mine too - that's why I'm very thankful gor the internet.

The Mk1 and 2 trigger mechs are the same (I believe) but there are differences in the later series of Airsporters, I think there may be a few!

Hi Dan. Are you certain that the sear is stuffed or is it a trigger/sear engagement/set problem?
Exactly what is going wrong, or is the sear missing?

A well used one which is good!

The sear is not catching anymore as the meat which ingages with the rod has just been milled away to a point where it can't be saved.

Recieved one from chambers which is a modern replacement but that doesn't work as the meat at the bottom which contacts the trigger sear is about 4mm shy of meat!

So I have desided to make the bloody thing myself and hard temper a block of stainless for the lower trigger part and use the new top part .

    Well see

Thanks for this Paul, I hadn't seen it but just checke it and it is the one I have just purchased from chambers. For some reason it is missing 4mm of meat on the bottom which ingages with the triger sear, hence being no good as it misses engagement.

I am half way through making a small trigger sear part so that I can use this new top sear part, fingers crossed, it's very tiny and tricky to make using stanless as its so tough but ill hopefully finish it tonight and temper. May update if it works out.
