Many 45 parts are now obsolete . Worth keeping an eye out for a cheap gun as a source of spares. There was actually a reasonably priced one for sale in Fife quite recently. Fre**ds.
I hae a .177 masel.
It seems these are no longer available. Is there anything else that could be used or modified to fit.
The rifle is in a terrible state, but it would be nice to turn it in to a shooter again, especially with it being a .177.

I'll keep my eyes open.
These options may take a bit of time in the shed but imagine the satisfaction.
Can you rebuild the original with weld and file to shape?
Or make another from suitable walled steel tube?
This thread has reminded me to check the lube on my Original 45
Edit: I just searched Gecado, Original, Diana and Knibbs have cocking shoes listed at £8.50
On backorder I assume?

Hi
I have a couple of Original 45's and then bought an action for spares but got it shooting OK!! I also 'won' a cylinder and a shoe some years ago on fleabay along with a couple of other bits!
I think I used the shoe on my first 45, It's a Jubilee model, I can recall buying one from Chambers too so I must have one somewhere, If so i've not seen it in years, I may have already given it away!!
THIS is the action I bought for next to nowt and the non shooting 45 a mate gave me, Turned out he'd crammed a massive Ox mainspring in but also added something like a 17mm nut and a washer!! It was also crammed with Copperslip grease!!
The Jubilee mod45 I think I bought it from on this forum yonks ago! The panels and medalion have been robbed out so I made a couple of walnut slabs to fit in to the recess!
