Cambridge HFT are holding an open shoot set by the course master himself Ian Bainbridge to Masters Rules on Sunday 27th November every one is welcome members and visitors alike. There will be a 30 target / 30 peg course held in two adjacent coppiced woods. Sunday 10.30 for safety brief, Zeroing range is open from about 8.30 am to set up.
There Will be some nice boxed Medal prizes for the winners In Open,Recoiling, .22, Junior and Ladies classes.
Followed by a draw for a £75 - £50 - £25 cash prizes.
We have a full 50yd zeroing and plinking range with Knockover resettables and paper targets.We are also able to offer a club owned AA S200 for hire (.177) and an AA S400K (.177) to those who wish to try hft or fancy a change from spring power.
Tea and coffee, soft drinks, hot food and more at excellent prices from the catering van. Vegetarian food available please post if you require it.
Easy to find, either coming down from Cambridge / M11 turn off at Harston junction and head towards Royston. Or coming up from Royston take the Cambridge road. Shepreth is well signposted, head into the village and find the railway station. Then head out of the village over the railway crossing and the club is at Brook Farm - about 400 yds out, on the left. There is a Cambridge HFT sign at the gate. The nearest postcode is SG8 6QD. Drive along to the end of the dirt track to find the club.
Please keep your speed below 15 mph within the farm and please park in the designated area!

I have most definitely been missing your lovely lady's wonderful bread pudding and had to make do with doughnuts during the nationals mate. If there is any on offer then I have now been persuaded to give this round of the Southern Hunters a miss and shoot masters rules. which I'm told is targets 8-45 yds and eat one piece of bread pudding for every unsupported positional not knocked over.
