Be nice to have the original pistol that that the pp700sa was copied from and made down to a price.

Would love to know if they are going to do some accesories for this pistol. A target sight and palm shelf grip would make it a real contender. The front end is very close to the LP10 style and In my opinion it looks awesome. I would think it should be easy enough to produce an adjustable trigger to retro fit too.

This is an impressive pistol for the money.
I took mine to the range yesterday and didn't miss a thing.
    .177
Didn't even have to fiddle with the sights.
Which is good as there is no elevation adjustment!

Plastic grips are a bit hard but it is easy to operate and well balanced.

Suggested fill pressure is 110 bar which is odd but works.
    Around 35 shots.
Makes a noise like a running out co2 pistol but the power is there.

A very practical and seemingly robust pistol.

I will try target work another day but I was having to much fun to bother yesterday.

At £250 or less I think it's my Best Buy for a longtime.

I do like the seal set included and they also added a free Best Fittings Coupler.

Picked up my PP700W yesterday .
Well finished and feels good in the hand and no air leakage from the breech area, yay .
Bad news filled it and it leaked 50 Bar overnight , filled it again this morning and air was escaping rapidly from around the cylinder to regulator joint .
Barrel was absolutely manky inside as well.
Looks like a stripdown is on the cards before I even shoot it !! .

Looks nice but for that you are around the price of a Hammerli AP20 or Tau 8 I've looked at this SMK and decided I prefer a FWB 65 ! If only they had added proper sights to this 700 ...

The manual is pretty good but has the usual translation oddities.
    Eg Vulerable o rings.
    But
'We recommend you fill 11MPa/110Bar to the gas cylinder.Do not exceed its maximum pressure 25MPa/250 Bar. '
    Seems clear enough.
Later on they refer to filling to" the reasonable pressure"

They also say the pistol does 700fps with .55gram pellets which, happily, it does not.

    SMK Artemis Pistol

Received and sent back - slow air leak from air cylinder.

If its this bad at new what will it be like in a while.

Shame as its a good entry level PCP Pistol - thought of buying a new Brocock but they no longer make them !

Next PCP's are far too expensive so am now looking at SSP or MSP.

(Its all about being recoil less)

    Pp 700...no

Sorry boys not impressed. Tested by several members at my club on saturday.
Biggest pain and moan was why the need to have to refill a pistol and cart tank equipment around when 99 percent of pistols are self contained. Makes no sense for a sporting pistol, if i might consider such a case for a fully fledged target pistol.
Next up intermittently air leak issue which we temporarily fixed owing to a half out of position seal.
    Trigger felt rough.
Grip was best accepted by a revolver shooter who is use to that style and positioning but not liked much by the rest.....me...im sticking with my Walther 53....carried on shooting while everyone was faffing around filling and leak curing.....didnt notice much difference in the group sizes niether for all that.

If you want a pistol for "target"use and money is a problem you cant do much better than a Crossman 2240,only problem is .22 only but you can buy one new and fit a modded trigger for £100.
The big advantage is no cocking effort on 2240, shoot 20-30 with an over lever type and you will soon have muscles in your arm hand and wrist like Popeye!not conducive to enjoyable shooting sessions.
Next up and best option is a full blown match pistol,Baikal mp45? single stroke compressed air, ugly yes ,but an excellent 10mtr pistol if you dont want a bank loan!No bottles required either, just you and practice to achieve some excellent results, doesnt look blingy though, it just does what it says on the tin.£250-300?
Next choice a more expensive "target"pistol ,several choices new from £500.or a nice S/H one,
Apart from the Crosman most other pistols other than "proper" target guns should be considered as fun guns.
    ERRR, been there done it!!!

I had one (Baikal) - very accurate gun, the only problem I had was with the lump of meat on the grip.

A bit tiring by the end of a 60-shot match too.

    Mark.
Too many guns, or not enough time?
