Nick,
After my little excursion today, I'm bringing a dose down to thin the numbers out a bit:
BSA Meteor (mk 7 full power model - read Gamo) in .177
Proper BSA Meteor Cadet in .177 (would his fingers stand the strain of wrestling the trigger?) with rear mounted peep sight fitted
Gamo cf20 in .177 (not bad but I don't do underlevers) the trigger has had the rc bearing treatment.
Possibly a HW30 mkii in .177 (polished and fettled, but the barrel's a bit 'off blue')
Get the lad into some springers, and none of this manly .22 calibre
What's the date of the June bash? I'm putting my holidays in next week!!!
Donald

HW77K .22, HW100KT .22, HW95K .22. AA TX200 MK3 .22. AA S410 MK3 .177. HW80 .25 HW30S .22. Pistols: Walther CP88 .177, Hatsan Mod25 Supercharger .22, HW45 Silver Star .177, Webley Alecto .177, SMK Victory CP2 .22
All paid, full weekend camping in a field full of boinger airgun nuts!
I might have to get myself an old 35, seeing as they're obviously so popular...

I've 'had' a couple before Paul. They're nice, imo and you definitely get a lot of rifle for your money... so much so, all my current rifle bags would be too short!
I'll stick with my bog-standard Supersport Carbine & HW95k for now, although I'm open to increasing the springer collection again so I might have more by April
